History
Rosa is the new creation of the Nadé brothers , founders of Maison Mounicq, established south of Bordeaux. Their idea: to reinterpret mint liqueur, inspired by the wine-growing heritage and the technique of the Bordeaux cellar masters of " blend ". It is named Rosa, in reference to the flower that goes into its composition as well as to the wine-growing tradition which consists of planting rose bushes at the end of rows in order to ensure the good health of the vines .
Design
Discover our Bordeaux mint liqueur, a blend of mint and peppermint , grape alcohol , hyssop and rose . To create it, we use an atypical and artisanal technique, vacuum distillation . For this, we distill the different macerations, thanks to our Rotovap , a small laboratory still. This technique is used to delicately separate the components of a liquid, reducing their boiling point using pressure.
Aromatic Profile
Rosa is a mint liqueur distinguished by subtle spicy notes on the nose. On the palate, these nuances give way to an intense freshness, supported by elegant floral and lemony touches. The finish is an unexpected and creamy sweetness that pleasantly invades the palate, punctuated by a delicately spicy finish. Its mint and peppermint essences give Rosa a frosty harmony, tempered by aromas of rose. The result is a very indulgent and delicate experience, an irresistible invitation to enjoy.
Tasting advice
Rosa is best drunk chilled, but not iced. It can also be enjoyed with neutral sparkling water or a slightly bitter, slightly sweet tonic, thus preserving the unique harmony of this French liqueur.
